Third Week

I made a presentation that has some more facts about human trafficking (and narration as my posts are often pretty long). The presentation takes about 10 minutes to watch and is located here: https://mix.office.com/watch/1s9djqg9bfd6j. Thank you for reading and enjoy your week!

  1. This was amazing! Like... you could run a podcast or something, wow. Thank you for that. I feel like I'm actually going to retain the facts that were in the video, because of the combination of narration and typed words.

    1. Thank you so much for taking the time to view it! I think I'm going to try to make a slide show every few posts; it was really fun and I'm glad it was helpful!

  2. I really liked your video. It made an impact, and was well thought out and planned. The information was provided in a way that I feel as though that I will remember it and be able to tell others about! Your information seems like something more and more people need to hear about so why don't you share it on social media more? I think it could really help you get the word out, and it might open another door for your research as well. keep Up the good work!

  3. Hi, I am Nathan from Lutheran High School. I agree that human trafficking and domestic violence are important issue in our society today. In your blog you do a great job of talking about what human trafficking is as well as what constitutes as domestic violence. Obviously education on theses subjects is one way to help prevent both, however what are some other ways that people can work to reduce the rate of human trafficking as well as domestic violence?

    1. A lot of studies have been done that suggest that when people (especially women) are given more opportunities for education and personal advancement the problem decreases in severity. Awareness and encouragement to get help or report the situation are the main ways to decrease the problem locally.
